Een van de meest aparte en herkenbare bouwers waar House of Lures mee samenwerkt is de Belgische bouwer Full Moon Baits (FMB). FMB streeft ernaar om unieke aasjes te bouwen door de perfecte balans te vinden tussen verschillende houtsoorten, gewicht, actie en hun aanwezigheid in het water.
Elke bait is ontworpen met een specifieke actie in gedachten, wat leidt tot verrassend veelzijdige en gemakkelijk te vissen creaties. Zijn uitgebreide kennis van een breed scala aan houtsoorten en hun kenmerken stellen FMB in staat kunstaas te creëren op basis van de dichtheid, het drijfvermogen en de resonantie van het hout onder water.
De zorgvuldige selectie van specifieke natuurlijke houtpatronen zorgt ervoor dat elk kunstaas uniek is. FMB kunstaas is niet voorzien van een ‘paintjob’ en het trouwe publiek i.c.m. de succesvolle vangsten tonen aan dat kleur toevoegen aan zijn creaties geen noodzaak zijn. Kunstaas in de houtlook zijn dan ook een van de absolute kenmerken van FMB!
FMB is gespecialiseerd in een grote verscheidenheid aan kunstaas waaronder gliders, pullbaits, hybriden,swimbaits, …met een groot aantal vaste modellen zoals de Onion, Tear,… maar uiteraard ook aparte exclusieve custom modellen die hij door de loop van tijd heeft gemaakt. Deze zijn vaak gewild door de specialisten en verzamelaars.
Vaste Modellen: ‘Small Onion’ – ‘Big Onion’
Een van de meest succesvolle modellen van FMB is de ‘Onion’ (Ajoin in het ‘Aalsters’). Een ongelooflijke makkelijk te vissen glider/swimbait welke simpelweg op de reel kan gevist worden.
Dankzij zijn S-vormige zwembeweging, het duidelijke flanken en de ongelooflijke aantrekkingskracht op de snoeken is de ‘Onion’ op korte tijd een van de topfavorieten geworden bij menig vissers. De ‘Onion’ is op stock in onze webshop in 2 groottes: de 11cm ‘Small Onion’ en 14cm ‘Big Onion’.
‘Big Tear’
Een eenvoudig te vissen FMB die simpelweg links rechts kan gevist worden op de hengel of de reel. Maar je kan deze bait ook een aparte swimbait actie geven, simpelweg gevist op de reel. De ‘Tear’ is niet je typische glider! Met een perfect wiebeltje op de afzink en pause is dit vaak de moment om je hengel stevig vast te houden! De ‘Big Tear’ in 15,5cm is momenteel limited in stock in onze webshop in verschillende houtsoorten.

Het afgelopen jaar bracht House of Lures een groot aantal speciale, exclusieve en unieke FMB creaties welke gretig door vissers uit heel Europa werden opgepikt. House of Lures & Full Moon Baits (B) – Unique handmade wooden baits
One of the most unusual and recognizable builders House of Lures works with is this Belgian builder Full Moon Baits (FMB). FMB strives to build unique baits through perfection, balance between different woods, weight, action and presence in the water.
Each lure is designed with a specific action in mind, leading to surprising versatile and easy to fish lures. His extensive knowledge of a wide range of wood species and their characteristics enables FMB to create lures on the density, buoyancy and resonance of the wood under water.
The careful selection of specific natural wood patterns ensures that each lure is unique. FMB lures are not provided with a ‘paintjob’ and his loyal customers i.c.w. the successful catches show that adding color to his creations is not a necessity. Lures in the wood look are therefor one of the absolute characteristics of FMB!
FMB specializes in a wide variety of lures including gliders, pullbaits, hybrids, swimbaits,… with several ‘standard’ models such as the Onion, Tear, … but of course also exclusive custom models that he has made in time. These are often sought after by specialist anglers and collectors.
Standard Models ‘Onion’
One of FMB’s most successful models is the ‘Onion’. An incredible easy to fish glider/swimbait that can simply be fished on the reel.
Thanks to the S-shaped swimming motion, heavy flanking and incredible attraction for the pike, the ‘Onion’ has become one of the top favorites of many anglers.

‘Big Tear’
An easy to fish FMB that can easily be fished left right on the rod or reel. But you can also give this ‘Big Tear’ a special kind of swimbait action, simply fished on the reel. The ‘Big Tear’ is not your typical glider! With a perfect wobble on the sink and pause, this is often the time to hold your rod firmly! The ‘Big Tear’ of 15,5cm is limited in stock in our webshop in different types of wood.

The past year House of lures brought a large number of special, exclusive and unique FMB creations that were eagerly picked up by anglers from all over Europe.
